About this Event

The East Region was non-operational for many years. The International President of JSGIF, JSGian Biren Shah, visited Kolkata on 118 to 20 July 2025. Earlier to his visited dhe had appointed JSGian Jasvir Seth from Kolkata as Convener for the proposed Wast Region. JSGian Jasvir Seth's efforts to revive the groups of JSG in Kolkata resulted in the start of 3 JSG groups in Kolkata. Thus the revival process of the East Region was initiated. The visit of JSGian Biren Shah was very fruitful. JSGian Jasvir Seth had promised to start at least 8 more groups in Kolkata and around in due course of time.
